About the Venue

Why Andaz Delhi Is the Design-Forward Choice

Most luxury hotels in Delhi tell the same story — heritage arches, Mughal-inspired corridors, chandeliers you've seen in a hundred wedding reels. Andaz Delhi tells a different one. The property is built around a contemporary art identity: 401 individually commissioned artworks inspired by Delhi's culture, earthy Rajasthani textures sitting alongside modern architectural lines, spaces that feel like they were designed to be photographed — because they were.

The location is its own argument. Three kilometres from IGI Airport Terminal 3 means guests flying in from Mumbai, Bengaluru, or London are at the venue in under 15 minutes from landing. The hotel's 401 rooms — including 45 suites and 129 serviced apartments — mean most of a large wedding party can stay on-site, turning a wedding weekend into a hosted experience.

The Ballroom itself is one of the largest pillarless indoor wedding spaces in Delhi at 10,800 sq ft — but the feature that stays in the memory is the Elephant Path, a dedicated route through the central courtyard that allows an elephant to lead the baraat right to the Ballroom pre-function doors.

Delhi's Most Design-Forward Wedding Hotel

"Andaz is the venue we recommend when a couple says their wedding has to look different. The pillarless Ballroom is a genuine blank canvas — the décor team can go in any direction because the architecture doesn't impose one. And the Aerocity location is a real operational advantage we don't take for granted."

Our Role

What Refuge Weddings Does at Andaz Delhi

Andaz Delhi's strength is that it's a blank canvas — the Ballroom has no fixed aesthetic, the Studios are infinitely configurable. But a blank canvas means every creative decision falls to you unless someone is filling that role. That someone is us.

01

Creative Direction

Andaz's contemporary aesthetic gives our décor team genuine latitude — no heritage mandates to work around. We design the full visual language: colour palette, lighting concept, stage architecture, mandap or entry installations, and the floral direction. For a venue this style-forward, the creative brief matters most.

02

Vendor Management

Photography, videography, bridal makeup, mehendi artists, live entertainment, DJ, invitation design — all coordinated through one master timeline. Andaz permits external décor vendors subject to empanelment; we know which vendors are approved and handle the process in advance.

03

Elephant Path Baraat

The Elephant Path at Andaz is spectacular — but only if it's choreographed well. We plan the baraat entry sequence, stage the dhol players, manage the courtyard crowd flow, and coordinate the transition into the Ballroom pre-function area. The window between a great baraat and a chaotic one is tighter than families expect.

04

Guest Experience Management

With 401 rooms on-site, Andaz is ideal for managing guests as a unified experience. We coordinate room-block allocations, run airport pickup scheduling, set up a hospitality desk, and design the welcome hamper programme. For international guests, we also provide local concierge guidance.

05

Multi-Space Coordination

Andaz's multiple simultaneous spaces mean coordination across the Ballroom, Courtyard, and Studios can happen on the same day. We manage the transitions. On every function day, our team is on-site from venue check-in to final farewell — running the show-flow so the family can be present.

06

12:00 AM Music Management

The 12:00 AM music cutoff is the constraint couples underestimate most at Andaz. We build every show-flow from 12:00 AM backwards, protecting the ending. A planner who knows this manages the evening's pace accordingly — and ensures the night ends on your terms, not the clock's.

When to Book

Best Season to Book Andaz Delhi

Recommended

Peak Season

October — February

Book 10–14 months ahead. The Courtyard is at its best — cool evenings for outdoor Pheras and the Elephant Path baraat with full dramatic effect under winter skies. November and December weekends go first.

Good Option

Mid Season

March — April

Warmer evenings. Courtyard events need earlier start times. Ballroom and Studios unaffected. More dates available with room for rate negotiation.

Indoor Only

Summer / Monsoon

May — September

Outdoor spaces are weather-dependent. The Ballroom and all eight Studios are fully air-conditioned and work across all seasons. Best pricing of the year for indoor-only weddings.

Food & Beverage

Catering & Menu at Andaz Delhi

Andaz Delhi operates a strictly in-house catering policy — no outside caterers, no exceptions. What this constraint buys you is a kitchen staffed by over 80 regional chefs with a genuine market-to-table philosophy and menus built around the food culture of the region.

In-House Catering Only

All F&B goes through the Andaz kitchen exclusively. 80+ regional chefs, locally sourced ingredients, and menus built around Delhi's food culture rather than the generic five-star banquet circuit.

Restaurant Pop-Ups at Your Wedding

AnnaMaya, Juniper Bar (35+ gin-and-tonic infusions), and Soul Pantry can activate as interactive pop-up stations at your Sangeet or Reception — a setup guests genuinely remember.

Veg & Non-Veg Options

Per-plate pricing starts at ₹2,500 (veg) and ₹3,000 (non-veg), exclusive of 18% GST. Premium menus with custom live stations run higher depending on menu selection and season.

Bar & Beverage

Full bar service available across all function spaces. The Juniper Bar format — 35+ gin-and-tonic styles — is available as a pop-up and is one of the most distinctive bar setups at any Delhi wedding venue.

Policies

Terms & Conditions

Events must close by midnight — no extensions. If your Reception or Sangeet runs long, you lose the ending. Build your show-flow from 12:00 AM backwards and protect that timeline. This is the single most important logistical constraint at Andaz Delhi.

Andaz Delhi allows external décor vendors. The requirement is prior empanelment and proof of insurance with the hotel. This process takes time — engage your planner well before the event to handle it, not the week before.

Fire rituals are allowed at Andaz Delhi. Not all five-stars in the Aerocity belt permit this — it matters for traditional North Indian ceremonies.

50% of the total estimated revenue is required to confirm the date. Non-refundable. Late cancellations at peak-season rates are a significant financial exposure — review the contract carefully before paying any advance.

Andaz has 401 rooms, which gives real flexibility for residential wedding weekends. But block-rate terms must be agreed at contract signing. Rooms allocated later come at higher rates, if available at all.

Good to Know

Frequently Asked Questions

Andaz Delhi charges on a per-plate basis — no separate hall rental fee. Catering starts at ₹2,500 per person (veg) and ₹3,000 (non-veg), excluding 18% GST. A full multi-function wedding typically ranges from ₹35 Lakhs to ₹1.2 Crore+, depending on guest count, number of functions, and menu selections. Décor, photography, and entertainment are budgeted separately.

For grand Receptions and Sangeets, the Ballroom is the clear choice — oval, pillarless, 10,800 sq ft, up to 1,500 guests. For smaller ceremonies — Haldi, Mehendi, Roka — the eight thematic Andaz Studios are the standout option. The Central Courtyard is the outdoor space for Pheras and cocktail evenings, and it's the access point for the Elephant Path baraat arrival.

For peak-season dates — October through February — start the conversation 10–14 months before your preferred date. November and December weekends are the first to go, and the Ballroom in particular books well ahead of schedule. We recommend involving Refuge Weddings before signing — not after — so cancellation tiers, room-block terms, and décor empanelment requirements are reviewed before any advance is paid.

Andaz Delhi has 401 rooms in total — across room categories, 45 suites, and 129 serviced apartments. This gives wedding groups meaningful flexibility when blocking rooms for guests arriving from different cities. Refuge Weddings handles the room-block coordination as part of our planning scope.
